End Connected To Overworld

by mahmudindev

End Connected To Overworld links the End dimension to the Overworld, so players flying up from the Overworld can reach the End and stack the two dimensions.

FabricServer required, client optionalMIT LicenseOpen source1.20.1

What it does

Players can travel from the Overworld upward into the End dimension, which the mod connects to the Overworld as a stacked pair. The mod also adds tweaks to End portals, including a fix that lets entities ridden by a player teleport through a portal and a change that stops a portal from creating a new destination portal on its own. A server needs the mod, while a client can join without installing it.

The mod is open source under the MIT License and is published for Fabric only, with one file for 1.20.1: version 0.0.1, dated 2025-12-24, after a first release on 2025-12-23. Passengers Portal Fix and Vanilla Backport are optional dependencies that extend the same behavior. Source code and an issue tracker are linked by the author for bug reports.

Key features

  1. Overworld and End stacking

The End dimension is stacked on the Overworld, so flying upward from the Overworld leads into the End.

  2. End portal teleport fix

Entities being ridden can pass through End portals, which the vanilla behavior does not allow.

  3. Portal destination control

End portals stop recreating their destination portal, so existing destinations are kept.

  4. Happy Ghast support

The mod includes dimension stacking support for the Happy Ghast from the Vanilla Backport mod.
