OpenBlocks Elevator for Fabric

The Fabric elevator mod adds colored elevator blocks that move players between floors, ported from the OpenBlocks elevator.
What it does
Elevator blocks are crafted from an ender pearl surrounded by colored wool beside a crafting table. A player stands on the top elevator block and jumps to ascend or crouches to descend. Placing an elevator block directly above or below another block of the same color links them, and blocks of different colors do not interact with each other.
Version 1.1 added the multiple colors and fixed a problem where the elevator could warp a player into solid blocks; the destination is now the first free air space above. A config file lets server owners change the range, which is hard-coded to 32 blocks in the original. The author ported the mod to Fabric after noticing that the elevator was missing from modded playthroughs, since the Forge version was available while the Fabric version had been abandoned.
A server running it needs every connecting player to have it too. Files are published for Fabric only, for 1.18.2, and the code is open source under the MIT License, with a public source repository and issue tracker.

Colored elevator blocks
Elevators in different colors link only with blocks of their own color, so several separate lifts can share one shaft.
Jump and crouch control
Jumping on the top block travels upward and crouching travels downward, one step at a time.
Safe destination
The player lands on the first free air space above the target elevator, not inside solid blocks.
Configurable range
A config file sets how far the elevator can travel, replacing the fixed 32-block limit.
