Elevator Blocks
by Prunty
Elevator Blocks lets players link matching elevator blocks into a column, so jumping rides up and crouching rides down between floors.
What it does
Placed elevator blocks connect to other elevators stacked above or below them. Jumping while standing on one carries the player upward to the next matching elevator, and crouching sends them down. A built-in check looks at the destination space before the trip, so a player is not moved into a blocked spot. Teleports come with a sound and particle effects as feedback.
Sixteen dyeable color variants let a builder keep several separate elevator networks in one base or tower, each color running its own line. Crafting uses simple recipes. The Fabric API library is required, and the mod runs on both the client and the server, so the server and every player need it. The license is MIT, and the code is not open source. Files exist for 1.21 – 1.21.11, with 1.0.0+mc1.21.11 for 1.21.11 as the latest build.
Key features
Jump to go up
Jumping on an elevator sends the player to the next matching elevator above, which keeps vertical travel quick.
Crouch to go down
Crouching moves the player to the next matching elevator below, so both directions use one block type.
Sixteen color networks
Dyeable variants keep elevators in separate groups, so several lines can share the same shaft.
Destination safety check
The destination space is checked before a teleport, so players are not dropped into a block.

Use cases
Vertical travel in bases
Builders can run a single column of elevators through a base without redstone contraptions or piston setups.
Multi-floor towers
Tall towers and hubs can link several floors with matching colors, giving each section its own route.
Who it’s for: Builders and server owners who want simple vertical transport between floors. Players need the mod on the client, and servers need it too for teleports to work.
