Erroring Entity Remover Reforged

by AzureDoom

With Erroring Entity Remover Reforged installed, entities that throw errors and crash ticking are removed from the world instead of stopping the game.

ForgeClient and serverMIT LicenseOpen source1.17.1 – 1.20

What it does

The mod detects entities whose ticking throws an error and removes them, so a single broken entity no longer halts the server or client loop. It runs on client and server, so both sides need it. Files are published for Forge only, across eight release versions 1.17.1 – 1.20, under the MIT License, and the code is open source.

Key features

  1. Removes erroring entities

Entities that throw errors during ticking are detected and removed, which stops the crash they would otherwise cause.

  2. Forge build

The mod is built for the Forge loader, so it can be used on Forge servers and clients.

  3. Configurable behaviour

A configuration option controls how the removal is handled, so server owners can adjust it to their setup.
