Eager Edge Destiny 2 adds swords inspired by the Destiny 2 weapon of the same name to Forge 1.20.1, with a mechanic that carries the player forward on a swing.
What it does
Eager Edge swords are added to the game, modeled on the Eager Edge from Destiny 2. The set includes a Half Truths Sword and a rare Other Half Sword. A right click with an Eager sword swings the player far forwards, and a left click sends a friendly mob or another player flying. Swords can be repaired with diamonds, and a cooldown enchantment applies to Eager swords.
The swords reach beyond combat. Combined with Elytra, an Eager Edge produces very fast movement, which the author links to the Wellskate. A structure called Pyramid spawns on End islands, giving players a place to find the weapons. A toggle lets server owners or players switch the launch ability on or off for other players.
The mod is published for Forge only, for Minecraft 1.20.1. Installation covers the server and each player's game. The license is All rights reserved, so the code is not open source. The first build was released on 2025-04-12, and the latest Forge file, 1.2.3, followed on 2025-04-13.
