Dusk's Levels gives the mobs of a world a level, which raises their difficulty over time so that play stays challenging as players progress.

What it does

Dusk's Levels adds a leveling system for mobs. Mobs gain levels as the game goes on, and their attributes change to match, with the goal of a fair pace that increases difficulty over time. Leveling pace, minimum and maximum level, and the scaling method are all customizable, with playtime, distance and biome options available. The mod is built to pair with other RPG-style mods. Required dependencies are Forgified Fabric API, Sinytra Connector and YetAnotherConfigLib (YACL). Files are published for Fabric and NeoForge, and the environment is client and server, so the server and every player need it. The license is All rights reserved, so the mod is not open source.

  1. Mob level progression

    Mobs level up as the world ages, changing their attributes so that difficulty rises at a fair pace.

    A mob that kills the player gains a few levels, so players who die to it face a stronger foe next time.
