DungeonCraft Core
DungeonCraft Core is a Fabric utility mod that supplies extra functions for DungeonCraft modpacks, including a password login system for servers.
What it does
On a server running the mod, a player who joins for the first time is prompted to register a username and password. Later visits require those credentials, so accounts are kept apart from anyone who merely connects. Credentials are stored on the server in a database, and the server owner keeps control through a whitelist and a per-user record that tracks whether an account is active.
The mod is built for DungeonCraft modpacks and is not meant as a general-purpose addition for other packs. It needs a config file, and players must set up a username and password before they can play. The author notes that more features will follow. Cloth Config API is required, and Mod Menu is optional for browsing settings in game.
The mod runs on Fabric for Minecraft 1.21.1 only. Files are at version 1.5, dated 2026-05-18, and the first public release was 2026-04-03. Every player and the server need a copy of the mod. The project is released under the GNU General Public License v3.0 or later and is open source, with public source code, an issue tracker and a wiki.

Use cases

A server running DungeonCraft can require each player to log in with a personal password before joining play.
Who it’s for: Server owners running DungeonCraft modpacks who want account login with a database and a whitelist.
How it compares
Authenticate is server-side only and covers Fabric builds 1.7.10 – 26.3 under the Apache License 2.0, so it is a server-only option for a much wider version range. Auto Login is client-side only, released under the MIT License, and covers 1.21.11 – 26.3, so it targets a different side and newer versions. DungeonCraft Core is client and server, open source under GPL v3.0 or later, and built for 1.21.1 alone.
