DrinkingCraft [ENG]

by EnzuBR

DrinkingCraft turns the drinking game into a Minecraft minigame, where in-game events make players drink when mining, bosses or milestones trigger them.

FabricForgeNeoForgeQuiltServer required, client optionalAll rights reserved1.21 – 26.2

What it does

Events are fired by actions in the world. Mining the main trigger: stone-type ores, deepslate ores and most block breaks can set one off, while a silk touch pickaxe always spares the block. Killing a boss, reaching a milestone or killing something defenseless are other triggers, and a defenseless player can be caught up with too. When an event fires, a title appears, a noise sounds and the chat reports what happened and who is affected.

Some events always trigger for everyone, while others roll dice and only a few let a player pick a victim. Events do not fire every time, since most roll a chance first. Certain events happen only once per world: whoever triggers it first sets it off for everyone, and after the victim is picked it never fires again. The whole game needs a server, so the server and every player need the mod, and the mod is published for Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt for game versions 1.21 – 26.2.

The mod is a data pack for Java Edition 26.2 with pack format 107.1, and it was inspired by the now unavailable Drunkcraft. Running the function bebida:uninstall before removing the data pack cleans up its scoreboard tags and advancements, so nothing lingers behind.

Key features

  1. Mining triggers

Breaking ores, deepslate ores and most blocks can set off an event, with a silk touch pickaxe as the exception.

  2. Boss and milestone events

Killing a boss, reaching a milestone or killing something defenseless can trigger an event for the players involved.

  3. Chance and victim selection

Events roll dice before firing, and a few let the player pick a victim, so outcomes differ from one trigger to the next.

  4. One-time world events

Some events fire only once per world, on the first trigger, and the first player to reach the trigger sets it off for everyone.

  5. Clean uninstall

A dedicated uninstall function removes scoreboard tags and advancements before the data pack is deleted.

What the author says

DrinkingCraft turns Minecraft into a drinking game. Every ore you mine, boss you kill, and milestone you reach can send you, or the whole server, reaching for a drink. Built for Java Edition 26.2 (Chaos Cubed), pack format 107.1. Inspired by the now-unavailable "Drunkcraft," rebuilt from scratch to be updated…
