Drawing lets players paint pictures onto the blocks of their Minecraft world while holding a paint item.

What it does

Players hold the paint item in the main hand and press F to move it to the off hand, then start a drawing up to 4 blocks away from them. Moving around and rotating the camera reshapes the lines and forms being drawn. Pressing F again removes the paint in front of the player, and an Eraser made with iron ingots at a crafting table clears a radius around one block. The server must run Drawing, while players may leave it out. It is released under the Creative Commons Attribution Share Alike 4.0 license, is not open source, and has files for Fabric, Forge and Quilt for 1.19.3.

Key features

  1. Painting blocks

    Paint is applied to blocks in front of the player, so a world can be decorated with images and shapes.

  2. Adjustable distance

    Drawing starts about four blocks from the player, and the camera can be turned to change the lines and forms.

  3. Eraser tool

    An Eraser crafted from iron ingots removes paint within a radius around one block, and F removes paint directly in front.
