Dragon Mounts 2

The mod adds fire breathing dragons along with new equipment and armor, and it generates dragon nest structures across the world, including the Nether and the End. A dragon egg is placed in a good spot first, then right clicked to begin hatching, which takes a while. Once grown, a dragon is tamed with meat and then follows and protects its owner like other pets.

Tamed dragons respond to a whistle and an inventory screen, where they can be told to lie down or stand up. A saddle is used with a right click, without holding any action item, to mount a dragon, and the rider steers with the W, A, S and D keys. Injured dragons heal when fed raw fish, chicken, beef or porkchop, restoring four hearts, or rotten flesh, restoring two hearts. The mod also includes two cheats that players may use when cheats are enabled.

Dragon Mounts 2 requires LLibrary. A recipe viewer is recommended to look up the new items, and Enough Items is named for the 1.11 and 1.12 builds. The mod is released under the GNU General Public License v3.0 only and is open source. It is published for Forge across four release versions, 1.11.2 – 1.12.2, and the latest file is 2.1.2 for 1.12.2. Only the client and server are involved, so both the server and every player need the mod.
