Dragon Mounts Legacy Continued lets players tame dragons, ride them and breed them, as a Forge fork for Minecraft 1.12.2.

What it does

Dragons hatch from eggs. Eggs turn up in loot chests and as drops from an elder guardian, and a water dragon egg is among them. Players start a hatch by right-clicking an egg with flint and steel. Dragons accept meat as breeding food, and a dragon ordered to stay in place obeys a bone. Dragons can also be fed glass bottles to collect dragon's breath over a period of days.

Dragons follow players who carry precious gemstones, in the same way that some creatures follow a player holding fish. The mod is a 1.12 fork of Dragon Mounts that brings back the 1.12 version with additions, and the adjustments are described as changes to the original mod. The author credits BarracudaATA for the original. The code is covered by a custom license that is not open source, and the source code and issue tracker are public.
