Beyond Dimensions
Players who reach the late game of vanilla can build a Dimensional Network with Beyond Dimensions, a storage system that holds items, fluids, energy, XP and several modded resource types.
What it does
The network is opened by defeating the Wither or obtaining a Nether Star, which is crafted into an Unstable Space-Time Fragment. Keeping that fragment in the inventory for one hour turns it into a Stable Space-Time Fragment, which is then used to craft a Dimensional Network Generator. Activating the generator creates the network, and a default hotkey (O) opens the storage interface.
Beyond Dimensions stores fluids, FE energy and experience alongside items, and also accepts chemicals, sources, mana and souls from other mods. The default capacity allows 2.1 billion distinct item or resource types, each holding up to 2^63^-1 units, and the type limit, per-type capacity and expansion methods can be changed with KubeJS. A single network can be shared with several players through player permissions, or through item-form Terminals.
Beyond Dimensions is published for Forge and NeoForge across the 8 release versions 1.12.2 – 26.3, and snapshot builds are also published. The mod runs on the client and the server, and the Create mod is an optional dependency. It is released under the MIT License and is open source.

Built-in crafting grid
The storage interface includes a crafting grid, so recipes can be made from network contents without a separate table.
Search modes
Plain text searches names, tooltips or mod IDs, while prefixes restrict matching to tooltips or to mod IDs only.
Sorting and row display
Items can be sorted by storage time, quantity, name or mod ID, and the number of displayed item rows is adjustable.
Universal slots and quick transfer
Any slot in the mod's GUIs stores all supported resource types, and right-clicking a slot while holding a container moves resources in or out of it.
