Don't Open That. turns ordinary loot chests into a horror experience, and a chest that looks normal can turn out to be a mimic.
What it does
Roughly one in five loot chests in the world can be a mimic, a chest that was never meant to be interacted with. Opening it sets off strange events and hidden surprises, and from then on things begin to change. Every player and the server need a copy of the mod. Builds are published for Fabric and Forge across 16 release versions, 1.18.2 – 1.21.5, and the code is all rights reserved, not open source.

About 20% of vanilla loot chests can be mimics that look like ordinary containers until they are opened.
Strange events
Opening a mimic chest triggers unsettling events that change the surrounding area and the player's situation.
Hidden surprises
Some chests hide surprises that are only revealed after interaction, adding a mystery to exploring loot.
