Did You Mention Me? is a Fabric utility that plays a notification sound when a player's nickname appears in chat while the Minecraft window is not focused.

What it does

When another player types a nickname in chat and the game window is out of focus, the mod plays a sound so the mention is noticed. It is a client-side only mod, so only the player who installs it needs it and servers can run without it. Files exist for Fabric, covering game versions 1.21.4 – 26.3 across 13 release versions, released under the GNU Lesser General Public License v3.0 only, so the source code is open source.
