What it does

The mod groups several wishlist features requested for GregTech CE Unofficial: electric steam generators and other machines, recipe map machines, and mass generation of meta items. It also adds stone ore types and a material recipe generation handler, so recipes can be produced from material data rather than written one by one.

Items such as batteries, food, fluids and fluid cells are included. DevTech needs CraftTweaker and GregTech CE Unofficial, which must be installed alongside it. Files are published for Forge 1.12.2 only, and the environment is client and server, so the server and every player need the mod. The code is open source under the MIT License.

Key features

  1. Electric steam machines

Generators and machines that run on electric steam, added on top of GregTech CE Unofficial's machine set.

  2. Recipe map machines

Machines that process GregTech recipe maps, extending the crafting options available in the GregTech chain.

  3. Mass meta item generation

Meta items can be generated in bulk, which saves setting each variant up by hand.

  4. Stone ore types and material recipes

Additional stone ore types, plus a handler that generates recipes from material definitions.
