Decent Screenshot

by BloodRed

Decent Screenshot lets players browse, view, rename and delete their Minecraft screenshots from inside the game, without opening a file explorer.

FabricClient-side onlyCC0 1.0 UniversalOpen source26.1.2 – 26.3

What it does

The mod opens a gallery of the screenshots a player has taken, shown as a scrollable grid that adjusts to the window size. Selecting a picture opens it in a fullscreen viewer, where arrow keys or on-screen buttons step to the previous or next image and the viewer closes back to the gallery.

A button in the gallery opens the local screenshots folder in the system file explorer for anything the in-game tools do not cover. The gallery screen can be opened with a key that is configurable, and F10 is the default. Screenshots can be renamed or deleted directly from the gallery.

It is installed on the player's side alone, so servers need nothing. It runs on Fabric for 26.1.2 – 26.3, with files for 26.1.2, 26.2 and 26.3, and Fabric API is listed as an optional dependency. The code is open source under the CC0 1.0 Universal license.

Cam360 is client-side only, open source under the Apache License 2.0 and covers 1.21.8 – 26.2, so it targets a different screenshot workflow with an older range. Screenshot Uploader is open source under the Apache License 2.0 and works on either side, and neither side needs it, for 1.17 – 1.21.8, which is a different set of versions and an upload-focused tool. SnapView is open source under the MIT License, client-side only, and limited to 26.1 – 26.1.2.
