DeathComp ranks players by how often they die relative to the time they have played, using statistics collected by a datapack.

What it does

The mod reads the PlayTime and Deaths objectives that the VanillaTweaks Track Raw Statistics datapack provides, and lists players in order of deaths per playtime. A median across players puts each one in order of deaths measured against the number they would be expected to have for the time they have played. Objectives only track statistics while the datapack is installed, and they apply retrospectively to earlier play. Fabric API is required. It runs on the server alone, so players need nothing extra to join. Files are published for Fabric for 1.21, with the latest file 1.1.0+1.21 dated 2024-07-07, and builds cover 1.20.4 – 1.21.

    Average deaths per hour are computed with a median, giving each player a position in the ordering.
