Death Announcer broadcasts each player's death to everyone on the screen, using a comedic message that can be read by the whole group.
What it does
When a player dies, the mod shows an announcement to every connected player, ridiculing the death in a comedic way. The message is meant to be seen by all, which suits hardcore worlds where a single death draws attention. A short animation and sound can accompany the announcement, and the author notes that it is kept in sync so the server stays at a stable 20 TPS at about 50 MSPT. Files are published for Fabric and NeoForge across 6 game versions, 1.21 – 1.21.5, under the MIT License, which is not open source.
