Custom Tabs (Custab) lets players create their own Creative Tabs from the Creative Inventory screen, with a + button in the upper left corner.

What it does

Custom Tabs gives players a way to build their own Creative Tabs. A + button appears in the upper left corner of the Creative Inventory, and a click opens the form for the new tab, where the required parameters are entered before the tab is created. The mod is a client-side only Fabric mod, so only the player's client needs it and a server can run without it.

Files target game versions 1.21 – 1.21.4, with 1.21.x builds for 1.21.4 as the latest Fabric file, published on 2025-04-24 on the alpha channel. Because of Fabric limitations, newly added tabs only appear after the game is restarted. The code is under the MIT License, but the project is not open source.
