Cursor Anchor

Cursor Anchor makes the inventory open with the cursor where it was last left, instead of returning it to the middle of the screen.
What it does
When a player opens an inventory or storage container, the cursor is placed at the position it had the last time a container screen was used, so the same spot is reused each time. Forging screens and generic 3x3 containers share that remembered position, so the cursor stays put across these screens too.
The mod is client-side only, so a server does not need it and players can join without installing it. It needs Fabric API as a required dependency, and Mod Menu is optional; with Mod Menu installed, the settings open from the mod list. Files target the 1.19.2 – 1.21.5 range on Fabric, and the 1.2.0 build for 1.21.5 is the latest, published on 2025-05-22. The code is released under CC0 1.0 Universal, and the source and issue tracker are public.
