Cursed Blade Muramasa

The mod adds the Muramasa katana along with a structure tied to Japanese legends. The blade is obtained by instantly receiving the sword, and it carries a curse: holding it drains the wielder's life over time, and the drain resets when the wielder kills an entity with it. Players who carry it take life from themselves rather than from others, which is the cost of the weapon's power.

Combat uses several inputs. A large cutting swipe comes from a left click, flurries of cuts are held with the offhand, and a sheath draw is performed on the swap. Crouching taps grant brief invincibility frames, and a timed right tap or hold of right click performs a parry that blocks incoming damage and retaliates. After a period without killing, the blade deals true damage to its user.

Cursed Blade Muramasa is built for 1.21.11 only and published for Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt. The server must run it, while players may install it to use the moves, and the server can run without the client side. It is released under the MIT License and is not open source. Data pack support is also listed for server platforms.
