Crystal Damage

by qpython

Crystal Damage is a Fabric utility that shows, before an end crystal explodes, how much damage it would deal to nearby entities.

FabricClient-side onlyGNU General Public License v3.0 or laterOpen source1.21.4 – 1.21.5

What it does

The mod runs entirely on the client and predicts end crystal explosion damage in real time. It takes the explosion origin, the player position, armor toughness and armor value, enchantments, and resistance effects into account, then shows the expected numbers as an overlay above each entity and as HUD text near the crosshair. Players in single-player and on multiplayer servers can use it without any server-side support.

Outlines around affected entities can be colored, and the coloring is configurable. A hotkey toggles the display on and off. The mod only provides predictions and does not act on anything, so it does not automate combat. Fabric API is required, and the project is open source under the GNU General Public License v3.0 or later.

Key features

  1. Damage prediction

Calculates the damage nearby entities would take from an end crystal explosion, based on the explosion origin and their position.

  2. Armor and resistance math

Factors in armor toughness, armor value, enchantments and resistance effects when estimating the final damage.

  3. Overlay and HUD text

Shows numeric values above entities and near the crosshair, so the figures can be read without leaving the view.

  4. Configurable outlines and hotkey

Entity outlines can be recolored in the options, and a hotkey switches the prediction display on or off.

Who it’s for: Players who fight with end crystals and want exact damage figures instead of guessing. It suits both single-player practice and multiplayer play, since it only needs to be installed on the client.
