Crying Obsidian Recipe adds a crafting recipe that turns one Obsidian and one Purple Dye into the block, so players can make it without finding it in the world.

What it does

The recipe takes one Obsidian and one Purple Dye, letting survival players craft their own block instead of searching for it. The mod is a data pack for server platforms, so it adds no new blocks or items of its own.

Server owners who want the recipe on a pack that already has other content can install it alongside. Only the server needs it, while players may leave it out. It is compatible with Minecraft versions from 1.16 onward, and builds exist across 40 release versions, 1.16 – 26.3, with 1.0+mod for 26.3 as the latest file. It is released under All rights reserved and is not open source.
