Cobweb Recipe
Cobweb Recipe lets players craft cobwebs from four String, a recipe that vanilla Minecraft does not provide.
What it does
The mod adds a crafting recipe that turns four String into a cobweb. Vanilla Minecraft has no craft for cobwebs, so this recipe is the only way to make them without finding them in the world. The recipe is delivered as a data pack, so it loads through the world's datapacks folder and does not change any code.
Server owners who want cobwebs to be reachable through crafting can add the mod to a server. Because it is a data pack, it works alongside other data packs, and it is built for Minecraft 1.13 and later. Files are published for Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt, plus a data pack release, across 51 release versions, 1.13 – 26.3. The server needs the mod, while players may leave it out. The license is All rights reserved, so the mod is not open source.
Key features
Craftable cobwebs
Four String in a crafting grid produce a cobweb, so players can make the block on demand.
Single recipe change
The mod changes only the cobweb recipe and leaves the rest of the crafting system as it is.
Data pack delivery
The recipe ships as a data pack, so it can be loaded without a loader-specific install.
Other data packs
The recipe is built to coexist with other data packs that are loaded in the same world.
