Crust

Crust works as a code library for other mods and as a set of optional player tools. Its testing kit includes a tile entity bounding box renderer that appears when F3 and B are held, a portal registry with a crustportal command, data generation helpers such as a loot table builder, and an advancement load event. Several extra player capabilities exist mainly for testing, including a super speed option that increases sprint speed and a continuous night vision option that removes water fog blindness.

Gameplay utilities cover magnet-style item pulling, recovering on death, preventing damage, restoring food when it drops below a threshold, repairing items, and managing inventory clutter. Crust uses its own config implementation instead of Forge's configs, and every feature can be configured. Starting modes for new players can be set, and server limitations are adjustable. Two other mods require Crust: Apocalypse Rebooted and Damp Soil. The environment is client and server, so both the server and each player need it, and the code is under the GNU General Public License v3.0 only, making it open source.
