Creative Tab Layouts, a NeoForge library, lets creative mode tabs be rebuilt into pages, subtabs and collapsible sections with headers and banners.
What it does
CTL swaps out the way Minecraft registers its creative tabs. The stock tabs stay in place, but inside the tabs a layout selects, the visible items are regrouped into a structured arrangement. Developers register pages and subtabs, define sections, and attach content to existing layouts. Visual configuration files for these layouts are generated through datagen from JSON-driven definitions.
The library suits people who ship large amounts of content inside one creative tab and want a tidier inventory, including addon makers and pack builders. Built-in vanilla layouts can reorganize selected vanilla tabs into cleaner pages and subtabs. The project is open source under the GNU Lesser General Public License v2.1 or later, and it is published for 1.21.1 only, with Tab_Layouts-1.2.1 as the latest NeoForge file. It runs on client and server, and any mod or modpack that depends on it needs it installed.

Creative tabs are split into pages, with subtabs and a scrollable side panel for moving between them.

Items inside a page are grouped into sections that can be collapsed to shorten long lists.
Visual headers and banners
Sections gain headers and overview pages gain banners, both drawn from JSON-driven visual settings.
Optional sprite animations
Headers and banners can use animated sprites, which are switched off when a player does not want them.
Addon pages and fallbacks
Addons can add their own pages, and fallback pages hold items that no layout places elsewhere.
