Create: Zinc And Calcite is a small Forge addon for Create that lets players crush limestone into calcite and zinc dust.
What it does
The addon adds a crushing recipe that turns limestone into calcite, and another that yields zinc powder, so zinc enters the Create production chain without mining ore. Zinc powder is pressed into zinc ingots with a mechanical press, four zinc powder per ingot. The mod is client-side only, so servers run without it, while the player's client needs it installed. It is available for Minecraft 1.20.1 on Forge, with version 1.0.0 as the latest file from 2024-06-23, and is released under All rights reserved, so it is not open source.

Limestone can be crushed in a Create crushing wheel into calcite, adding a new route for that block.
Zinc powder from crushing
Crushing also produces zinc powder, which feeds the press and removes the need for a separate zinc source.

A mechanical press turns four zinc powder into one zinc ingot, so the metal is made entirely from Create machines.
