Create: Melatonin adds joke content to the Create mod, including chat messages that turn into meowing, cat-ear and fur effects, and throwable items.
What it does
Players who want a light prank layer on top of Create can install Create: Melatonin, which replaces chat messages with meowing and gives right-clicking a cat with a brush a fur effect. The mod also adds throwable items and a chloroform item meant for friends, and a few curse-binding and sauce-based effects that change how a player is treated in play.
The mod is a client and server mod, so both the server and every player need it. It is published for Forge and NeoForge, covering game versions 1.20.1 and 1.21.1, under the Apache License 2.0, and its source code and issue tracker are public. Latest files are 1.5.3 for 1.20.1 on Forge and 1.6.1 for 1.21.1 on NeoForge, with the first release dated 2026-03-21 and the latest update dated 2026-07-14.
