Create: Ore Factory

by zloydrakonn

Create: Ore Factory adds recipes to the Create mod that turn gold, copper, zinc, redstone and steel into new intermediate materials.

NeoForgeClient and serverAll rights reserved1.21.1

What it does

Players who run Create can use the mod's added recipes to make steel ingots, copper and gold items, zinc solution, crystallized zinc, zinc powder and redstone. Several recipes run in a mixing basin or a heated mixer, while others use crushing or compacting. Some outputs are chance-based, such as a share of extra zinc powder or a small gold ingot yield, so the same inputs do not always return the same amount.

Create: Ore Factory requires Create and is published for NeoForge only, for 1.21.1 with the 1.1.5 file as the latest release from 2025-04-06. Both sides must run it, since the environment is client and server, so the server and every player need the mod. EMI is optional and can be added to browse these recipes in its viewer. The mod is released under All rights reserved and is not open source.

Key features

  1. Steel production

Steel ingots are made from iron ingots and coal inside a heated mixing basin.

  2. Zinc chain

Zinc solution, crystallized zinc and zinc powder form a sequence of crafts, with zinc ingots renewable through the chain.

  3. Gold and copper recipes

Gold and copper have their own mixing and compacting recipes, including nugget and ingot outputs.

  4. Redstone and clay

Redstone and clay balls are processed through washing and mixing steps to yield more usable material.

Use cases

Create factory automation

Players building Create factories can route ores and dusts through the new recipes to supply steel and zinc lines.

Who it’s for: Players who already use Create and want more mixing and crushing routes for steel, zinc and gold. Server owners running Create can add it for the same progression.

How it compares

Full comparison

Create: Zinc Recipe runs on Fabric, Forge and NeoForge for 1.20.1 – 1.21.1. On the server it is required, while players may leave it out, so clients can join without it. FGTS Steel targets NeoForge only for 1.21 – 1.21.1 and is a client and server mod. more create mixing recipes also works on Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt for 1.21 – 1.21.1, and it is not needed on the client, so only the server has to run it, under the MIT License.
