Create: Mass Munitions

by melodiccougar7

Create: Mass Munitions links the Create mechanics of mass production to ammunition from several gun mods, with casings recycled back into cartridges.

ForgeClient and serverApache License 2.0Open source1.20.1 – 1.20.6

What it does

Players feed the ammunition recipes of the addon into Create machinery, so cartridges can be made in quantity instead of one at a time. The addon targets gun mods that add ammunition to Minecraft, and it aims for a balance between realistic and playful combat rather than strict realism.

Compatibility is the main subject of the addon. It bridges Create with Timeless Classics Zero and Vic's guns, and with Point Blank and Scorched Guns 2 Guns Craft. Adventurers Arsenal, a gun mod with 3D models, is also covered. Recipes switch themselves on or off depending on which gun mods are installed, so the addon adds nothing that a player does not have.

The mod is licensed under the Apache License 2.0 and is open source. It runs on Forge and needs both the server and the client, so every player on a server that runs it installs it too.

Key features

  1. Create mass production

Ammunition recipes run through Create machines, so cartridges can be produced in batches.

  2. Casing recycling

Spent casings drop from fired guns and are collected back into new cartridges.

  3. Gun mod compatibility

Recipes are added for Timeless Classics Zero, Vic's guns, Point Blank, Scorched Guns 2 Guns Craft and Adventurers Arsenal.

  4. Recipes that adapt

Each recipe enables itself only when the gun mod it belongs to is installed, so unused entries stay hidden.

Use cases

Ammunition on a server

A server with several gun mods can give players one shared supply line for cartridges built in Create.

Factory-based gunplay

Players who build Create factories can feed scrap and casings into a production chain for their guns.

Who it’s for: Players who run Create factories alongside gun mods, and server owners who want ammunition production shared across several gun packs.

How it compares

Full comparison

Create: Arms Race Reborn is open source under the MIT License and runs on Forge, with client and server environment. Create: Arms Race is open source under the GNU General Public License v3.0 only and covers only 1.20.1. Scorched Guns 2 is a client-side only gun mod under the GNU General Public License v3.0 or later, for 1.20 – 1.20.1, so this addon's bridge to it does not require server installation of that gun mod.
