Create: Harmonics

Ethereal Records are special records that hold links, which are assigned with a Record press base. Once a record is in a jukebox, it plays whatever the player has linked to it. The mod also adds a brass jukebox whose pitch, range and stored records can be adjusted, plus speakers and audio routing systems built around Create.

Playback works with contraptions, so music can play on an elevator, ambient sound can cover a factory floor, and a train engine can carry its own sound with pitch tied to speed. The surroundings change the audio too: a submerged speaker is muffled, and a special structure built around a speaker adds reverberation. Local audio files can be uploaded, and the mod includes mob interactions with sound. Harmonics is published for Forge and NeoForge, and Create and Kotlin for Forge are required. The mod is open source under the MIT License and runs on client and server, so both the server and every player need it. Files cover 1.20.1 – 1.21.1 and the latest builds are 1.1.7.
