Create: Engineers

by average_anime

Create: Engineers adds villager professions tied to Create machinery, with job sites, trades and worktables for Factory, Mechanical, Hydraulic and Railway Engineers.

FabricClient and serverGNU General Public License v3.0 onlyOpen source1.20.1

What it does

Each profession gets a job site block and a worktable where a villager can take trades. The professions cover factory work, mechanical work, hydraulic work and railway work, so villagers can offer trades that relate to Create machines. Trades are customized through data packs, which lets server owners and pack makers change what each profession sells without editing the code.

The mod requires Cloth Config API and runs on Fabric for 1.20.1 only, with the latest file dated 2024-11-10 at version 1.0.1. Servers that run it need every player to install it too. The code is open source under the GNU General Public License v3.0 only.

Key features

  1. Factory Worker profession

A villager can take the Factory Worker profession at a Factory Worktable and offer trades tied to factory machinery.

  2. Mechanical Engineer profession

The Mechanical Engineer profession uses its own worktable, giving villagers trades for mechanical parts.

  3. Hydraulic Engineer profession

A Hydraulic Engineer works from a dedicated worktable and offers trades for hydraulic equipment.

  4. Railway Engineer profession

The Railway Engineer profession adds a worktable and trades connected to railway building.

Use cases

Stocking villager trades

Server owners can give villagers Create-themed trades, placing a job site where a villager should take a profession.

Who it’s for: Players who want villagers to offer Create-related trades, and server owners or pack makers who want to change those trades through data packs.
