Countered's Accurate Hitboxes
by Countered
Countered's Accurate Hitboxes replaces the boxy default hitboxes of Minecraft combat with hit areas taken from each entity's actual 3D model.
What it does
Hit detection in this mod checks the real shape of an entity instead of a simple box. Hits register where the model is, which the author describes as more fair, realistic and visually accurate. The changes also apply to modded entities, not only vanilla mobs. Installation needs Architectury API on both loaders.
Key features
Model-based hit detection
Hit calculation uses the actual entity model, so a strike counts only where the visible body is.
Works with modded entities
The model-based hitboxes also apply to entities added by other mods, not only to vanilla mobs.
