Cosmetic Armor Updated

Cosmetic Armor Updated lets players wear visual armor overrides in four Trinkets slots, so the look of worn gear can differ from the gear's actual stats.
What it does
The mod adds four Trinkets slots that hold cosmetic armor pieces. A cosmetic piece replaces how armor appears on the player model while the real armor stays equipped underneath, which keeps the protection and durability of the worn gear unchanged.
Trinkets Updated is required and must be installed alongside this mod on Fabric. Cardinal Components API is no longer required by this version. Earlier builds for 1.21 and 1.21.1 depend on Emi's original Trinkets mod with Cardinal Components API instead, and builds for 1.21.4 – 1.21.10 use Ryhon's Trinkets Canary with Cardinal Components API.
The server and every player need the mod installed. Files are published for Fabric in 12 release versions, 1.21 – 26.1.1, and the latest build is 1.8.0 for 26.1.1. The code is released under the MIT License and is open source.

Players can dress a character in a chosen outfit while wearing functional gear for combat or survival.

A player can display a favored armor set in a different appearance without giving up the stats of the armor in use.

How it compares
Trinkets Canary is client and server, open source under the MIT License, and published for 1.21.4 – 1.21.11, so it covers the versions this mod supports in that range. Cosmetic Armor Head Items is also client and server but is not open source, and it targets only 26.1.1 – 26.1.2. Pebble's Cosmetic Render API is server required with client optional and is not open source, covering 1.20.1 – 1.21.1.
