CoreWithStuff
by YigitAKLN
CoreWithStuff is a Forge library mod for 1.20.1 that supplies a shared core of blocks, machines and power abilities for other mods to build on.
What it does
The mod centers on an Alloy Smelter, a processing machine that runs on fuels such as coal or wood in an optional Energy Mode. Power abilities can be set to steal, copy, remove or detect energy, and a screenshake ability has a configurable intensity. Conditions make power easier to manage for developers who build on the core.
Portable energy storage units let players carry charge, and a capacitor can move power into the Alloy Smelter to recharge it. The Alloy Smelter Capacitor is compatible with mods that use energy systems such as Ender IO and Mekanism. A custom wallrunning ability is integrated through GravityAPI.
Geckolib is required, so it must be installed alongside CoreWithStuff. Palladium is optional and adds extra ability integration when present. Every player and the server need a copy of the mod. Files are published for Forge only, for 1.20.1, with 1.6-Fix as the latest file, and the mod is released under All rights reserved, so it is not open source.

How it compares
Dampened is a Forge mod for 1.20.1 that is client and server and not open source, so it covers a different set of effects than CoreWithStuff. Cardinal-Lib is a Forge library for 1.20.1 that is client and server and open source under the GNU Affero General Public License v3.0 only. Alloy Smelter is a Forge and NeoForge mod for 1.20.1 – 1.21.4 under a custom license, so it reaches more versions than CoreWithStuff, which is limited to 1.20.1.
