Coretechs
by Arzumify
Coretechs is a standalone, server-side technology mod for Fabric and Quilt, built on Polymer and its own custom energy system.
What it does
Coretechs adds cables in several tiers, generators that produce power, and voltmeters and switches for reading and controlling energy flow. Its energy system is its own and does not depend on another technology mod's network. The mod is inspired by Tech Reborn but is designed as an independent project rather than a port.
Two machines bridge energy and experience: the Summoner converts energy into experience, and the Experiencer converts experience back into energy. Polymer is required, and the mod bundles Polyenergy inside its files. Coretechs runs only on the server, so players join without installing it. It is published for Fabric and Quilt, with files for 1.21 – 1.21.4, and is open source under the GNU General Public License v3.0 or later. The project is still in alpha, though the author describes the feature set as complete.
Key features
Tiered cables
Cables come in several tiers, so a network can carry more energy as it grows.
Generators
Generators produce power that feeds the energy network built from cables and machines.
Energy and experience machines
The Summoner turns energy into experience, and the Experiencer turns experience back into energy.
Voltmeters and switches
Voltmeters read the energy level in a network, and switches open or close a connection between parts of it.

Use cases
Server technology progression
Server owners who want a technology layer without a client install can run Coretechs alone, since players need nothing beyond the vanilla game.
Automated experience farms
The Summoner and Experiencer give a network a way to move between energy and experience, which suits builds that rely on both.
Who it’s for: Server owners and players who want a technology mod that runs only on the server. Because the project is alpha, owners should expect changes between releases.
How it compares
Simple Cables is a Fabric mod for 1.18 – 26.2 under the CC0 1.0 Universal license, so it covers cables only and reaches far more versions. Simple Energy Generator is Fabric-only for 1.21.1 – 26.1.2, released under the MIT License, and runs on client and server, so both sides need it. Coretechs covers cables, generators and machines, and runs on the server alone.
