Coppertunity adds goat-based content, copper upgrade templates and magic items to Fabric and Quilt builds for Minecraft 1.20.1.
What it does
Copper used in the mod draws on some features found in later releases, with an added twist of its own. Goats drop mutton and Goat Fur, and goats found in igloos can be a source of Copper upgrade templates. Four Tuff, four Goat Fur and a Copper Ingot craft a Coated Ingot, and a smithing table combined with a diamond armour piece and a copper upgrade template crafts Coated armour pieces. Fur armour is slowed down by water, which limits its use in rain and swamps.
The content is split into two main parts, Souls and Copper. The Hell Sword is a costly weapon that enchants itself with Fire Aspect and includes a Leap ability that pushes the wielder through the air. The Ominous Pendant is crafted from an Ominous Bottle, which evokers drop, and hitting a Warden below 100 health with it petrifies the Warden into a statue. A Cursed Chain, crafted from an Ominous Bottle, applies slowness to the player's inventory. The mod runs on Fabric and Quilt for 1.20.1 only, and it needs to be installed on both client and server.
Key features
Goat-based buffs
Goats within a 10 by 10 area grant buffs such as strength, and holding a lightning rod near them triggers a lightning strike for three seconds.
Coated armour and ingot
Coated Ingot and Coated armour are crafted from Tuff, Goat Fur and Copper, using a smithing table with a diamond armour piece and a copper upgrade template.
Hell Sword
A costly weapon that enchants itself with Fire Aspect and launches the wielder forward through the air with Leap.
Warden petrification
Hitting a Warden below 100 health with the Ominous Pendant turns it into a statue, which the Warden recovers from after a second hit.
