Copper Overhaul expands copper in Minecraft with new block variations, a wrench tool, chest locks, magnetic elevators and lightning-powered armor for the 1.18.2 Forge version.
What it does
The mod adds copper block variations such as doors, walls, chains and slabs, along with vertical cuts for building. A new wrench tool rotates blocks, and copper conduits and vertical redstone runs use copper wire as an alternative to stacked redstone dust. Copper Overhaul also includes a Locksmithing Table, where keys can be made to lock chests and shulker boxes.
Elevators use magnetism: a coppered lodestone block magnetizes metallic armor so the wearer can travel at high speeds in a 3x3 area. Metallic armors can be upgraded to use electricity and lightning bolts with new enchantments. Installation needs Forge only, and the Overhaul is published for 1.18.2 alone. Servers that run it need every player to install it too. The license is custom and the code is not open source, and the author maintains a wiki that documents recipes and mechanics.
