Configurable Splash Texts
by EthanStokes
Configurable Splash Texts lets players edit the splash messages on the title screen through a config file, without replacing the vanilla splash file.
What it does
Splash texts are the short messages shown on the Minecraft title screen. This Fabric and Quilt mod reads a config file, so a player can add new lines, remove specific lines or strip out the vanilla set entirely. Changes apply in the game itself, and the vanilla splash file stays untouched, which matters for modpacks that want their own wording without overriding that file.
Text color can also be changed, so a custom splash line can be given a different tone from the default. The mod is client-side only, so players install it alone and servers need nothing. It works with resource packs that change splash texts, and the code is released under the GNU Lesser General Public License v3.0 only, so it is open source with public source code and an issue tracker.
Installation needs Cloth Config API and Fabric API. Mod Menu is optional and can be added for a settings screen. Files exist for 1.19.2, 1.19.3 and 1.20.1 on Fabric, while Quilt builds target 1.19.3 for the current release.
