Compass HUD draws a minimalistic compass across the top of the screen, with N, S, E and W markers and the exact heading in degrees.
What it does
The compass stays visible at all times during play. Its N, S, E and W markers show the four cardinal directions, and the current heading is shown with degree precision, which helps when following a bearing across open terrain or lining up builds with a fixed direction.
The design is a thin, unobtrusive strip rather than a large overlay, so it sits alongside other interface elements and suits modpacks with a restrained visual style. Compass HUD runs on Fabric only and is released under All rights reserved, so it is not open source. It is client-side only, so servers run without it and players alone install it.
Files cover game versions 1.20.1 and 26.2. The latest Fabric file is 1.0.0 for 26.2, published on 2026-07-04, and the first release dates from 2025-05-07.
