Command Stopper

by jsydl

Command Stopper lets a server owner switch command block execution off and on with a single gamerule, for a Fabric server.

FabricClient and serverMIT LicenseOpen source1.21.8

What it does

The mod adds a gamerule that turns command block execution on or off. Setting commandBlocksEnabled to false stops command blocks from running, and setting it back to true restores them. It is published for Fabric and 1.21.8 only, under the MIT License, with its source code public. Fabric API is required, and the environment is client and server, so the server and every player need the mod.

Key features

  1. Gamerule toggle

A gamerule switches command block execution off or on without editing any world or server file.

  2. Single command switch

Running the gamerule command with commandBlocksEnabled set to false or true is all it takes to change the state.

  3. Stuck teleport relief

Disabling command blocks can help when infinite teleport loops built from command blocks leave players stuck.
