Command Debug Service
by Jaffe2718
Command Debug Service lets external programs execute Minecraft commands on a server, linked to a debug kit that connects the game to outside tools.
What it does
The service exposes a way for external programs to run Minecraft commands. A developer connects an IDE to the game through the command debug connection kit, so a script opened as a .mcfunction file can be sent for execution while the game is running. The mod opens two socket servers, and the host and port of each are shown in the game chat, where a second socket server can be connected by entering those values.
Installation requires Fabric API on Fabric, and the Quilted Fabric API on Quilt. Once the mod is placed in the mods folder and a world is joined, the sockets start. Code completion and code execution are offered through the service. The mod is server-side only, so players join without installing it. It is published for Fabric and Quilt across 10 release versions, under the MIT License, and the source code is open source. Optional support for MidnightLib is listed.

Use cases
Developing datapack scripts

Testing command flows
Command sequences can be executed from outside the game during testing, without typing them into chat.
Who it’s for: Datapack authors and developers who want to drive Minecraft commands from an external program, and server owners who run that tooling on their own server.
