Command Block Editor

by commandblocks0

Command Block Editor lets a builder edit several command blocks in one window, and it can generate complete command block chains from a list of commands.

FabricClient and serverMIT License1.21 – 1.21.11

What it does

Looking at a command block and opening the editor loads that block's commands into the window. If no command block is in view, the editor creates a new one at the current position and opens it. Changes are saved with Ctrl + S and the editor is closed afterward.

A builder can write a batch of commands in one place, and the mod places them as a linked chain. Map makers, technical builders and anyone maintaining large command block setups can use it to manage many blocks at once. The mod is published for Fabric only, for 1.21 – 1.21.11, and it is licensed under the MIT License, so it is not open source.

It needs Fabric to run, and it works on the client and the server, so both the server and every player need the mod. The latest Fabric file, 5.0+1.21.11, targets 1.21.11 and was released on 2026-09-04. Files also exist for 1.21 and 1.21.1.

Key features

  1. Multi-block editing

Several command blocks are edited together in one window rather than one at a time.

  2. Open or create

The editor opens the command block being looked at, or creates a new one at the current position if none is there.

  3. Chain generation

Writing a list of commands in the editor produces a complete command block chain automatically.

  4. Iteration index

An iteration index and addition can be used while writing commands, so repeated entries follow a numbered pattern.
