ColoredArmorHUD

by Lunar201

ColoredArmorHUD changes the armor display on the HUD so each piece reflects the material it is made from.

FabricNeoForgeClient-side onlyMIT License1.20.1 – 26.2

What it does

The armor HUD shows each equipped piece tinted by its material, and mixed armor sets are handled as well. Trims, glow effects and enchantments can be shown with a customizable style, and low-durability warnings appear when a piece is close to breaking. Equipped-armor display is optional, so the readout can be turned off.

The mod is client-side only, so the server does not need it and players can join without installing it. It requires Fabric API. Files are published for Fabric and NeoForge, for game versions 1.20.1, 1.21.1 and 26.2, and it is released under the MIT License but is not open source.

Key features

  1. Material-coloured armor readout

Each armor slot on the HUD is colored to match the material of the piece worn there.

  2. Trims and enchantment glow

Armor trims and enchantments can be displayed with a customizable glow effect.

  3. Low-durability warnings

A warning is shown when an equipped piece drops to low durability.
