Cobblemon Picnic
by shiero
Cobblemon Picnic lets players sit at a picnic table placed near wild Pokémon, re-rolling the nearby spawns so a chosen species or shiny can be hunted from one spot.
What it does
Placing a picnic table and right-clicking it replaces the wild Pokémon around it with a fresh batch, and players can keep doing so without roaming the world. Shiny odds rise when a seat is occupied, and a full table doubles them. The mod requires Cobblemon, the Pokémon mod it is built on, and it is distributed for Fabric and NeoForge.
The mod includes six tables named Basic, Advanced, Expert, Diving, Hot and Strange, and a table built from any of 176 cloth-and-wood combinations works as a bench for each seat. Players can wash, play with, fetch items with and earn friendship with their team while seated. Tools are crafted once and then reused. Every setting, from the re-roll master switch to individual table behaviour, is configurable, so server owners can offer the picnic without any spawn manipulation. Commands, a full feature reference and terms are on the public wiki.
Key features
Re-roll nearby spawns
A picnic table swaps the wild Pokémon around it for a new batch, letting players hunt a species without walking across the map.
Shiny odds by seating
An occupied seat raises shiny odds, and a table with every seat occupied doubles them.
Six table types
Basic, Advanced, Expert, Diving, Hot and Strange tables each provide a different setup, and each seat can be a bench.
Team care while seated
Players can wash, play with and fetch items for their team, earning friendship while they sit at the table.
Trainer summons
Battle Seeker tables can summon a trainer instead of re-rolling the spawns, which an Expert table can also do.
Statistics and configuration
Each re-roll is logged and each shiny is counted, and the whole mod is configurable.

What the author says
Put down a picnic table, right-click it, and the wild Pokémon around you are swept away and replaced with a fresh batch. Hunt a shiny, hunt a species, hunt from a chair — without walking a thousand blocks to reset the neighbourhood. Then sit down. A full table doubles your shiny odds.
