Cobblemon Pasture Collector

by tmetcalfe89

Cobblemon Pasture Collector places a Pasture Bin beside Pasture Blocks and gathers the item drops of the Pokémon inside them.

FabricNeoForgeClient and serverMIT License1.20.1 – 1.21.1

What it does

A Pasture Bin placed directly against a Pasture Block gathers the drops produced by the Pokémon kept in that block. The bin holds four slots, and items can only be taken out of it, so hoppers and other extraction tools can pull loot while nothing is pushed in. Only the immediately adjacent Pasture Blocks feed each bin.

The mod depends on Cobblemon, Cobblemon Drop Loot Tables and Cobblemon Tim Core, and all three must be installed alongside it. It is published for Fabric and NeoForge, with files for 1.20.1 and 1.21.1, and both sides need it because the environment is client and server. The code is released under the MIT License, but the project is not open source.

Key features

  1. Pasture Bin block

A placeable bin that collects drops from the Pokémon in adjacent Pasture Blocks.

  2. Four-slot output inventory

The bin stores loot in four slots, which can be emptied by hand or by extraction tools such as hoppers.

  3. Drop Loot Tables dropper

A new dropper integrates with Cobblemon Drop Loot Tables, so its output follows those loot table definitions.

  4. Optional cooldown

Each dropper can use an optional per-dropper cooldown, which can be turned on to space out drops.

What the author says

…you could put Pokémon to work when they’re in the Pasture Block? Give yourself a Pidgey. Put it in a PC. Add it to a Pasture Block. Place a Pasture Bin next to it. Run /gamerule randomTickSpeed 3000 and watch as little green flecks go on above the bin, then open it by interacting with it to see the drops.
