Cobblemon Mike Skills
With Cobblemon Mike Skills installed, Cobblemon players gain profession-style progress from everyday survival actions, and that progress shapes which Pokémon they encounter.
What it does
Cobblemon Mike Skills is a Cobblemon add-on that ties experience to real actions in the world. Each activity counts as a profession with its own mechanics, and as a profession grows, its rewards scale with it. Encounter chances can depend on biome, weather, time of day, water and Pokémon size, so the same skill level can lead to different creatures.
Progression runs through common and rare Pokémon. Early on the mod favors ordinary species such as Magikarp, later it can reach Gyarados and Milotic, and legendary encounters are described by the author as occurring at a 1/3000 chance. Rare spawns can be broadcast to the whole server, and the skill balance was reworked in version 4.0.0. The mod requires Cobblemon, and it is distributed under the MIT License, though it is not open source. The server must run it, while players may add it or leave it out.
