Cobblemon Confirm Release adds a confirmation prompt before a Pokémon is released, so a shiny or other chosen Pokémon is not let go by accident.

What it does

When a player tries to release a Pokémon that matches a criterion set in the mod, a prompt asks the player to confirm the release before it happens. The check covers shiny Pokémon by default, and the criteria can be extended through datapacks, matching Pokémon by species, strength and other possible reasons. Declining the prompt keeps the Pokémon in the party or PC.

The mod is built on Cobblemon and needs Cobblemon Tim Core and oωo (owo-lib) installed alongside it. It runs on Fabric and NeoForge for 1.21.1, and the environment is client and server, so the server and every player need it. The code is released under the MIT License and is not open source.
