CodeNode Microcontrollers
by elmfrain
CodeNode Microcontrollers adds mos6502-based microcontrollers that players program in assembly code to automate redstone contraptions.
What it does
Each microcontroller runs assembly code written for the mos6502 instruction set, so a build can react to redstone inputs and drive outputs without manual switching. The mod is an alpha release for Fabric on Minecraft 1.20.4, and its assembler is vasm, which is covered by the same license as the mod. Fabric API is required. The mod can run on a client alone, a server alone or both, and neither side needs it.
Key features
mos6502 microcontrollers
Microcontrollers execute mos6502 assembly, letting players script redstone logic instead of wiring it by hand.
Assembly programming
Programs are written as assembly code, with the 6502 instruction set as the reference for available operations.
Alpha stage
The build is a pre-release alpha, so players should expect bugs and can report them through the issue tracker.
