Clover lets players set their pronouns, name colour and chat identity from one trigger, all through a single datapack and mod.

What it does

Players choose pronouns, a name colour and a chat style, and the identity is then applied wherever the player is named. Each part can be set without the others, so a player can change only the colour or only the pronouns. The identity is managed through a trigger, which makes the settings available to other datapacks and mods that read it.

The mod is released under the GNU General Public License v3.0 only and is open source. It must run on the server, while players may leave it out and still join. Files are published for Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt, plus a data pack, across 41 release versions, 1.13 – 1.21.10.
